Today, 10 December 2024, an Information Conference was held in Ruse as part of the project “Preparatory Activities for the Establishment of the Local Fisheries Action Group (FLAG) Ruse Municipality – Ivanovo Municipality – Borovo Municipality and the Development of a Community-Led Local Development Strategy for the 2021–2027 Programming Period.”
The project is implemented under Procedure No. BG14MFPR001-3.001 “Capacity Building and Preparatory Actions in Support of the Development and Future Implementation of Community-Led Local Development Strategies” within the framework of the Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme 2021–2027, financed by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).
The conference attracted significant interest from local stakeholders. During the event, the draft Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Strategy of FLAG Ruse – Ivanovo – Borovo was presented, outlining the strategic priorities and planned measures to support the sustainable development of the fisheries and aquaculture sector and local communities across the territory of the three municipalities.
