On 29 November 2024 and 2 December 2024, two one-day training sessions were held in Ruse—one for local leaders and one for stakeholders. The main objective of these events was to provide information on the process of developing the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) Strategy, as well as to present the key guidelines and requirements for applying for and implementing projects under the CLLD approach.
The training sessions were organised as part of the project “Preparatory Activities for the Establishment of the Local Fisheries Action Group (FLAG) Ruse Municipality – Ivanovo Municipality – Borovo Municipality and the Development of a Community-Led Local Development Strategy for the 2021–2027 Programming Period.”
The project is implemented under Procedure BG14MFPR001-3.001 “Capacity Building and Preparatory Actions in Support of the Development and Future Implementation of Community-Led Local Development Strategies” within the framework of the Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme 2021–2027.
During the training sessions, participants gained insight into the key aspects of developing and managing the CLLD Strategy and received practical guidance on future participation in project initiatives. The events attracted considerable interest from representatives of various sectors, who actively participated in the discussions and shared their views and ideas.
