Ruse Municipality Organises Information Meetings for the Establishment of FLAG Ruse – Ivanovo – Borovo

Ruse Municipality invites all interested stakeholders and members of the local community to participate in a series of upcoming information meetings organised within the framework of the project “Preparatory Activities for the Establishment of the Local Fisheries Action Group (FLAG) Ruse Municipality – Ivanovo Municipality – Borovo Municipality and the Development of a Community-Led Local Development Strategy for the 2021–2027 Programming Period.”

The project is implemented under Grant Agreement No. MDR-IP-01-172/13.09.2024, financed through the Maritime Affairs, Fisheries and Aquaculture Programme 2021–2027, with financial support from the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).

The purpose of the meetings is to provide the local communities of the municipalities of Ruse, Ivanovo, and Borovo with information about the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) approach, the activities planned under the project, and the priorities of the Programme for the 2021–2027 programming period.

Three information meetings are scheduled for 30 October 2024, as follows:

  • 10:30 a.m.BTA Press Club, 2 Rayko Daskalov Street, Ruse;
  • 1:00 p.m.Ivanovo Municipality Building, 75 Olimpiyska Street, Ivanovo;
  • 3:00 p.m.Borovo Municipality Building, 1A N. Vaptsarov Street, Borovo.

The organisers invite all interested stakeholders—including representatives of businesses, non-governmental organisations, the fisheries sector, and local citizens—to actively participate in the process of establishing FLAG Ruse – Ivanovo – Borovo and developing the Community-Led Local Development Strategy.
